What is a Small Claims Court?
A small claims court in simple terms is actually what it reads. Its a court that deals with small claims so generally if the value of the accident claim or personal injury claim is less than £5000 then it will often be allocated to a small claims court. Small claims court generally have their own set of rules and procedures.
What are the time limits in a Small Claims Court?
If you have decided that you are taking the matter to court because the claim is below a certain value then you will probably want to know how long the process will take. Unfortunately the process is no different to any other court and all depends on how complex the actual claim is.
